About Arlequin

Arlequin is building the sovereign European alternative to Palantir: an AI platform capable of processing massive data volumes without bias, with high-impact use cases such as fighting disinformation. Founded in late 2024 by Hugo Micheron (researcher in geopolitics and systemic risk) and Antoine Jardin (CNRS research engineer).

The role

You’ll be the bridge between HUDEX and the governments and organizations who run their most consequential decisions through it. You work hand in hand with customers to understand how analysts and decision makers actually work, then build and ship the integrations, workflows and product adaptations that make HUDEX indispensable to them. You’re not handed a spec: you go find the real problem, prototype a solution fast, and carry it from first sketch to production. What you learn in the field feeds straight back into the core product roadmap.

Stack

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript

  • Backend: Node

  • Build & infra: Scaleway cloud, on-prem

  • Data: Python

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of fullstack or backend-leaning experience, ideally with some exposure to customer-facing or field engineering work

  • Strong command of TypeScript and a modern React/Node ecosystem, plus comfort in Python for data/integration work

  • Proven ability to operate independently: scope an ambiguous problem, ship a working solution, iterate from real user feedback

  • Comfortable translating between non-technical stakeholders (analysts, government or enterprise clients) and engineering

Bonus

  • Experience in public sector, defense, security or highly regulated environments

  • Eligibility for security clearance

  • Experience with on-prem or air-gapped deployments

  • Mastery of agentic coding tools and code models

  • Interest in emerging tools and paradigms

  • Fast learning on unfamiliar codebases and client environments

Process (~2 weeks)

  1. Screening (15 min)

  2. Fit interview (30 min)

  3. Technical interview (1h)

  4. Founder culture fit (45 min)

  5. Reference calls

  6. Offer

Package

  • Competitive compensation including equity stake

  • Paris-based, with travel budget and per diem for missions across Europe
